Dutch Beginners I & II (Mark: 9)

Aims:

 

  • Understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment).

  • Communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.

  • Describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.

Obtained Results: Ability to understand basic dutch, speak simple conversations, Good mark!

 

 

Dutch Intermediate (Mark: 10)

 

Aims: 

 

  • Understand enough to manage simple, routine exchanges without undue effort

  • make yourself  understood  and exchange ideas and information on familiar topics in predictable everyday situations, provides the other person helps if necessary

  • initiate, maintain and close simple, restricted face-to-face conversation

  • describe past activities and personal experiences. Use simple descriptive language to make brief statements about objects and possessions and compare them

Personal Contribution: Lecture Attendance, Excercises

Obtained Results: Ability to understand normal conversations, handle dialogues in common situations (Market, Shops, Simple conversations).
